You may have noticed over the last week or so, that each time I get deeper into just how far the rabbit hole goes into the "election integrity" movement and what is really going on behind the scenes and how it is all connected, our video feeds just go dead. This is an operation which is cutting our power to our particular studio. Not neighbors, not other farms or ranches or businesses - just a sole focus on our power systems. This has become a pattern and is not random and - in my mind - not coincidental. It is designed to cut the feed and then feed back to me - A WARNING. This, in my mind, is not random.
We are working to see if this can be back traced and to set up distant systems to monitor the provider to see where this "spike" originates. Weird I know, but we all knew this was going to get weirder stranger and possible involve danger and here we are.
America’s Elections
As a citizen who went to the basement of our local bank in the nineteen seventies and counted ballots by hand from the recently closed election, I now clearly see, beyond the obvious, a couple of additional benefits of hand-counting election votes over digital counting.
Hand-counting ballots encourages civic engagement, as volunteers from diverse backgrounds come together to assist with and observe the process, fostering a sense of community ownership and responsibility. Hand-counting votes is not merely a technical safeguard; it is a ritual that reaffirms collective values of fairness and accountability.
Second, citizens feel deep satisfaction when they realize they contributed to a process vital to their country's future. Society has lacked this since the country adopted digital ballot counting.
